Photography is a moment captured in
time; not everyone will see it, but there will always be a picture to
show it. To me, photography is a passion created by the eye and
formed through the camera. It will capture the scene with a single
click of a button and a simple adjustment of the camera. Inspiration
is a key component of photography. What inspires an individual
affects the way a picture will turn out and the mood it will create.
To me, inspiration is formed from colours, patterns, lighting and
ideas that I compose prior to taking the photograph in order to
accomplish my best work.
The purpose behind my work is to take a
small, dull subject and make it into something powerful and unique. I
like to capture a mood by adjusting the lighting and/or viewpoint of
the photograph thereby turning it into something spectacular. My
technique is largely defined by the variety of angles I approach a
photograph with, and also through the dramatized lighting and bright
colours of the scenery.
From first-place awards, to one-day
workshops, to public recognition, and education, I have taken the
time and put forth all my hard work in order to become successful and
independent in my chosen career path. I am dedicated, passionate, and
reliable in my work and will continue to grow as a photographer
helping to ensure the needs of clients are met
To me, photography forms memories that
last a lifetime and captures moments in its' finest art form.
